My last outing...

Was Saturday, February 4.

Although I didn't get as early a start as I had planned, I still was mostly done with my transformation by 8:50pm, and left the house by 9:30pm, which is considerably earlier than normal. Earlier in the day I had picked out the outfit, purchased nails, and did some necessary grooming in preparation for the night. I was unable to find my (damaged) camera, so I borrowed my wife's. The wife took a few photos before I left, so I didn't have to deal with the tripod and single shot timer. I was going to wear a coat, but opted for a maroon sweater which I ended up wearing all night.

I arrived at Gigi's just before 10pm, also early for me. I was greeted by Russ, a real sweetheart, taking cover charges. There wasn't a large crowd, but there were many Gurls, out numbering the guys and gals. Ashley, Sherry, Leah, Angela, Tracy and the always gorgeous Candace May were there, as were other 'usual suspects'. Anton (aka The Impaler) was also there, and took some photos for me. I didn't see regulars Jaye Marie, Chrissy or Jackie, though. The bar filled up after the shows let out.

I danced a few songs (oldie type music) early, chatted with Anton, Candace, Ashley and Sherry (nee Debbie), and had some refreshments. I had planned to leave by 1:00am, but hung around till a quarter of two before saying my good-byes. I was home by 2:20am, no stopping for a late night snack.

Once back home,I set up the tripod and camera, and took a few photos before cleaning up and putting 'Lisa' away. I was in bed by 3:30am, again early for me (as of late).

I don't know when I will be out again, as our oldest son is moving back in with us. He doesn't know about 'Lisa', so I will have to be very discreet. The wife promised to cover for me some night, but I will have to get a motel room to change in.

It has been a long time since I did that. . .

Saturday, Feb. 4th.

It looks good for dressing and going out tonight. Unless something comes up, I'll be going to my favorite venue, Gigi's Cabaret on W. Warren in Detroit. I hope to be there by 10pm, if I get started dressing early.

See you there?

Uh oh!

I had planned on going out on January 21st, but life conspired against me again! My desktop PC died the week before (could not post notices). On Jan. 19 I was in the process of building a new PC when I seriously cut the palm of my hand on the sharp inner pieces of the case. I did not want to get stitches, but my hand was reasonably unusable, and I would not be able to pull on pantyhose, fasten a bra or corset, put on boots, etc.

The hand is healing nicely, but I don't have time this weekend to go out. Things have gotten complicated with our older son as well, and he may have to move back in with us for 90 days or so. That will ruin any attempt for me to dress until after he moves back out. I'm trying to manipulate his moving in around one more outing Saturday, Feb. 4th. He will be moving back out around the time we launch our boat for the summer, which has always signaled the end of my dressing season. Because of this, I may try to wangle a night or two during the summer for outings. The weather (and wife) will determine when I am available.

If I'm unable get out, I will probably post some old photos of myself on Flickr to keep my pages from becoming stale.

The photo above was taken after my last outing to Gigi's in Detroit. I was fooling around with some lingerie, wigs and variations in the outfit I wore out that night. I took over 240 photos that night!

Happy New Year!

Looks like I started the year off right for a change! My plans to get dressed and go out on the 7th. started off as I had planned- School Girl outfit chosen and ready, make-up available, and wigs found. All I needed were my Kiss stick-on fingernails, which I planned to pick up after breakfast. Well,we didn't go for breakfast until 3:30pm, so I was late. Bought the nails, and we stopped for a drink at our favorite watering hole per my wife's request. It was after 5pm before I was dropped off at home to start my transformation process.

I took a long shower, carefully shaved (twice), trimmed fingernails and toenails, and began the make-up. I was just finishing up when the football game started. I caught bits and pieces of the game in my travels between the bathroom and my dressing area. I tried to wear the outfit without wearing a foundation garment, but things were too tight. I added a corset which made things a bit easier. I also opted to wear only my compression tights with the socks I chose. I had 4 or 5 choices, but settled on my white nylon calf length socks. I selected my short redhead wig and made for the fingernails. By the time I was ready, the wife returned home with her carryout dinner and sat in the living room where I wanted to take pre-departure photos. I rearranged some things, set up the tripod and began shooting photos while the wife watched the end of the game and ate her dinner. It was 11:00pm when I finished, and left the house. I stopped at the ATM on my way to Gigi's.

Since I was sooo late, there was an opening in the free parking area near the street, which I took. Once inside Gigi's, I paid the cover for both levels (didn't get to see the show, AGAIN) and headed for the bar. I purchased a beverage, and did some socializing. Anton (aka the Impaler) and Gary were there, as well as other regulars, like Ashley (last month's kissing bandit victim), Leah, the fabulous Tracy, and a tall vixen (who's name escapes me). Angel was there with a GG friend, so I took photos of her (she is always such a camera whore), It looked like she was having too much fun, and dropped a drink on the floor, breaking the glass. Angel and her companion left shortly thereafter. I was late enough that many regulars had already left, and there was also the low attendance due to the Lions game. I flirted some, and swapped stories with Ashley, Leah and one of the nicer admirers. Some of the Latin contingent 'on the make' arrived, helping to increase the crowd size. Once the show downstairs ended, the place filled right up, with a group of GG's included. All the ladies were dressed in some sort of club wear, and were very Hott! I stayed right up until the 'Moment of Truth' (when the flourescent lights come on, and you find out if your make-up still cuts it!), and left for home.

I didn't stop for a snack, and arrived home around 2:45 am. My wife had left me an egg roll from her dinner, which I devoured. I moved the photos from the first part of the evening to my PC's HDD. I then assembled the camera to the tripod, fumbled to start the self-timer, and started shooting photos. I tried on different wigs (3 total), three different pairs of socks and two pairs of shoes. The camera started to shut itself off, so I emptied the card again, noting 190 photos taken! I put fresh batteries back in the camera and shot another 49 photos before I ran out of ideas and energy.

I put everything away except the purse, and removed my clothes, and took off most of the make-up. I left the nails on to be removed later that Sunday. My wife noted my after 5 arrival to bed.

I really had a great time- the dressing was most enjoyable, and the outing to Gigi's really capped the night. Some of the photos I took are now appearing on my Flickr pages (miss_lisa_dee). Thanks to all who were there, and I hope next time there will be more people to meet and greet. I'm also hoping to dress at least twice a month till boating season begins.

Huggs,
Lisa D.

Target for tonight: Gigi's!

Yes, friends, I AM getting out tonight (1/6) for my first outing of the year 2012!

With any kind of luck, I may even leave the house early. I've decided on my schoolgirl outfit (I found the wigs I misplaced in December), washed the blouse, tried on the skirt, cleaned the shoes, found leg wear and I'm going for the fingernails shortly. I have enough make-up, and I have a backup outfit ready, just in case!

Although our Detroit Lions are playing, and many won't be out (I suspect), I'm still going. I'll be able to keep up with the football game on the TV screens at Gigi's.

If you see me, stop me and say hello!

December 3, 2012

I did manage to dress again last Saturday. Even though there was an event (serving a meal at a homeless Veteran's shelter) earlier in the day, I managed to get home in time to start preparations for going out. I stopped on the way home to buy Kiss press-on fingernails. I picked up a set, and decided to look at the eyelashes. While perusing the selection, a (very gay) male customer thought I needed help- he asked what I needed. I told him long lashes were what the wife asked for. He pointed out a few saying "this is long, so are those, and these too. I thanked him for his help, and when he left for the check-out counter, I chose something different!

Once home, the usual shower, shave (twice-old skin!), and face preparation began. The make-up went well, considering my lack of practice. I knew what I wanted to wear (they should still fit), so the outfit was easy. I stood in front of the full length mirror and chose the best of three wigs to match the make-up and clothes. It was almost 8:00pm, and nearly ready to leave! The skirt I chose was the wrong one and really needed a belt, and only one belt I owned would look right AND fit. I searched for almost 45 minutes without success, and got pissed off. I settled for a metal belt, and I needed to blouse the top out over the skirt so it looked OK. By this time it was almost ten, and I had planned to take photos of me applying the fingernails, but I was running out of time. I had just finished the task and had set up the camera, when the wife returned from her shopping (she usually stays away while I dress, waiting for me to leave). I had to move her carryout dinner from the living room so I could take pictures. I figured out how to use the broken camera without the display screen working, and snapped a few photos before leaving (make-up always looks better just after application). I grabbed a coat and scooted out the door. Time- 10:20pm.

I got to Gigi's about 10:45, delayed by an accident on M-39 that closed all but one lane. Found a spot to park, paid the attendant and went inside. Paid the cover for both floors, but only went to the main (upper) bar. I said hello to Christie and Jacqui, who I haven't seen since May, and bought myself a beverage. Also chatted with Janet (of Janet's Closet fame), Tracy, Leah, and long time girlfriend Ashley. Anton (AKA The Impaler) and Gary came in a little after I did, and we talked for quite awhile. Lots of good looking T*s were there. I missed seeing Jay Marie by about 15 minutes! I didn't dance, since the boot heels were 3" ( I've had very little practice), and the music was for $#!t. Around 1am, a fight broke out between Janet and some drunk guy, which was quickly broken up by the staff. The drunk got the worst of it. I flirted a bit, talked to two other T*'s, and finally left by 2am (before the moment of truth- does your make-up still cut it).

I arrived home about 2:20am, and uploaded the earlier pictures to my PC. I took a few more photos, and decided to find the two wigs I had tried on before I left home, to see how they would have looked. Couldn't find them!!! I spent almost one and a half hours without luck, and around 4:15am I gave up trying. In the process, I DID find the belt, though. I was in bed by 5am or so, still with the nails in place.

While I had an excellent time out, and I did enjoy the transformation, I was thoroughly disgusted by my inability to find what I was looking for. I WILL be organizing my clothing and such before my next dressing time. My schedule for the remainder of the year precludes my dressing, so I won't be out until sometime in January, 2012. I have told my wife NOT to schedule all my weekends next year!!!

Huggs and happy Holidays to All.

November 12, out and about once again!

It seems my 'social secretary' had been doing a great job of scheduling my free weekend time since May, precluding my dressing and going out. Well, much to my wife's consternation, I finally got a chance to dress fully and go out on Saturday Nov. 12th, to Gigi's in Detroit.

I had planned to dress after finishing the boat cover Saturday afternoon, but since I did the work by myself, I was totally exhausted when I returned home after 5PM. The wife was just leaving for a fundraiser, and I wanted to wimp out. After about 1/2 hour of relaxing, I decided to take a shower, and see how I felt.

Feeling much more refreshed, I opted to dress at the very least. I shaved close just in case. It had been a long time since the last time, but the make-up routine went pretty well, considering. I wasn't in a big hurry (I didn't watch the clock), and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of transforming into 'Lisa' once again. Once my make-up was complete, I rummaged through my wardrobe for something that would fit AND look good. I also had to find a pair of flesh-colored tights that weren't too badly run (Danskin, which I haven't been able to find a replacement for). I wanted a short skirt, black tights and boots kind of look. The opaque black tights I chose covered the runs in the base pair of tights, but had a nasty habit of creeping down my backside! I also found a knit sweater I could pair with the pleated knit skirt I chose, but it was a bit small in the sleeve length, and the only top that wasn't in need of a wash. I pulled the boots on, grabbed a couple of wigs, and headed upstairs for a final critique in front of the full-length mirror. I selected the red and black shoulder length wig, brushed it in place, and went to find the fingernails.

I had forgotten to buy nails! The box I thought was full turned out to be used, with the larger nails already gone. I normally don't paint my own nails (too long to remove the polish completely), but I had no choice. I found some red nail polish that wasn't all dried up, and proceeded to polish my (very) short nails. I had to remove a lot of over-painting, but they would pass inspection in a dark bar. That complete, I grabbed my camera, placed on the tripod, and powered it up. The LCD display on the camera back was wacked! Just an irregular shaped black spot on a white background. I fooled around with it for what seemed like hours, but to no avail. It looked like there would be no photos of 'Lisa' that night! I gathered my purse, ID, ATM card and vehicle papers ( registration and proof of ins.), as well as cellphone, hairbrush, perfume and make-up repair kit, and headed out the door. It was 10:30pm...

I arrived at Gigi's in Detroit, and found the only open parking spot in the lot. Paid my fee to the attendant, and went inside. I paid the cover charge for both levels ( I didn't go to see the show), talked to Russ collecting the money, and continued to the main bar. I got a beverage, said hi to Dave and Tony behind the bar, saw Jaye Marie, Jennifer (who almost never goes to Gigi's), Chris, Marie and Cherie, Anton (aka The Impaler), Gary (out of drag) and a few others (whose names escape me). I talked with Jaye and Jennifer for a while, and then made my rounds. Angela came in, and I explained I couldn't take her (or any other) photos because of my defunct camera. She obliged me by taking two photos of me with her cellphone (which I haven't seen yet). I had given some thought of leaving early (it was 1:00am by this time) to visit my friend at her job at a str8 bar, but I hadn't talked with her for nearly 8 months, and wasn't sure she was still working there. The skirt I wore was hiked up above my waist to be short, but I could have pulled it down to the proper fit to be more respectable. I decided to stay at Gigi's.

At about 1:45, I decided I was getting too tired to stay any longer, so I packed up, said my good-byes and left. I did stop @ WC for a slider on the way. I arrived home around 2:15 am- the wife was asleep. I found her camera, changed memory cards, and placed it on the tripod. The self-timer had to be reset after each shot, so I didn't take too many photos. The neighborhood was quiet, so I took a couple of photos outside, including in the wife's car. At about 3:20am, I restored the camera to its original condition and placed back in her purse. I changed back, removed my make-up and headed to bed. I would remove the nail polish later Sunday.

Since I have been getting less and less chances to dress, I am enjoying the time I do spend dressing much more (like when I was 20). I would like to get out Nov. 26th, but a Hockey game may get in the way, so I'm also hoping I can get out on Dec. 3rd. We'll see what my 'secretary' has planned for me.

Huggs to all!

September update

As you may have noticed, I haven't posted any since May.

That is because I have had no time to devote to Lisa, with boating season and work obligations occupying most of my time. I'm planning to store my boat by Oct. 15th, relieving some burden.

If I can swing it, I may try for this weekend (9/24) to visit Gigi's. I won't know until Friday.

going out. . .

Getting ready was becoming a matter of expediency, to get dressed and out for an evening. The less time in meant more time out. I rushed about, by habit. It looked like Saturday, April 30th was going to be a repeat. But during my shower, I remembered why I crossdressed.

Originally, it was the feeling of the clothes, nylons, bra, and panties on my skin I loved. Then the 'look' became important. Next was going out dressed, especially in public. Passing. Straight venues. Each step brought a new rush of adrenalin, adding to experience. I realized I had become a little jaded with my dressing habits, and the frequency of the opportunities. The older (and fatter) I get, the less I dress. I decided to savor every moment of each dress-up, starting tonight

The application of foundation, powder, blush, eye liner, shadow and especially the eye-lashes and mascara took on a more sensual feeling. I slowly slipped into panties and tights, smoothing all out. Bending over in a corset is almost impossible, so I slipped the white Leggs pantyhose up first the left, then right leg all the way to the waist. Then I hooked the corset closed, which took on a submissive thrill (and a lot of breath), and filling the cups with my padding amplified the sensation. The turtle neck was wiggled into, and the spandex jumper pulled taught over the top. Step in to a nylon slip , and pull it up my silky legs . Next, slowly slipping my stocking clad feet into one, then the other boot, and zipping them up slowly, I had to take a pause and slow down my breathing. Select a wig from 5 choices, admiring the differences each one gives, retrying each after the lipstick is generously applied. Perfume, touched in many places for enhancing sensuality. I had started at 6pm, and was done by 8:30pm. The fingernails were next. I was shaking with excitement as I selected the nails and pressed them in place. Looking in the full-length mirror, I nearly swooned.

Quickly I set up the camera and tripod, snapping about 16 photos in 15 minutes. Just as I was packed up and ready to walk out the wife returns home (gone all day). She has me wait until she is finished in the bathroom. She asks me if the slip hanging out was a new style, so I fixed the problem. I left about 9:45pm, stopping at an ATM for spending money.

Traffic was in disarray with construction projects forcing detours everywhere. I arrived after ten pm at Gigi's. The lot wasn't crowded, and not a lot of people upstairs, It looked like a batchelorette party was downstairs (confirmed following the second show). I acknowledged many hello's, including Jacki, Jaye Marie, Steve, Sherry, Shelly (I'm surprised), Angela (TS),and staff Russ, Dave and Tony. Tracy was there, but just leaving to do the Noir Leather Hellbound pin-up night in Detroit. Bought a beverage, sat, watched and chatted with some, while dancing a few songs. Angela and Angel arrived, as did the lovely Kiki. Re-met Jennifer, and thought I saw Michele(undiscovered) as well. When I noticed the time, I worked my way to the door to call my friend at the bar she works at. She said I would be too late to make it there by last call, so I told her I would try next time. She sounded disappointed, but wanted to see the photos next week.. I went back in for a blow-job (the DRINK, you ninny!), and to say good-bye to those I know still there. It was a long journey home.

I stopped at the estate house on my way home. My son was away for the weekend, and it made for a different background setting. I took a lot of photos, and a short video, before packing up and leaving around 3:45am. Got home, undressed, took off the make-up and went to bed. There was nothing sensual about this at 4:3o am! The adrenalin didn't wear off until then. I left the nails on...

I don't know when my next outing is, but I'll post when I do know.
Huggs!

Trying to keep up. . .

. . . with life.
I normally try to dress and go out every other weekend during the fall through April (when possible). Summers are out. I can't seem to get schedules to work as I once did.

I did get the chance to get out on April 9th, to Gigi's. Again my wife found a reason to be gone. I was surprised that the make-up went well. The skirt was guaranteed to fit, and the only choice was which top. I chose a cardigan I had worn once before with the same top and skirt, and looked good at that time. I had already chosen the red with black wig I bought from Han's in Redford (tried it on in drag) from the earlier incarnation of the outfit. At 9:30 I was applying my nails, took some photos, and left home by ten PM.

There was construction on M-39, but managed to miss any back-ups. Traffic was on the Northbound side as well. Arrived @ Gigi's about 10:30pm. Paid for both levels, headed upstairs. Bought a beverage, and visited with Sherry, Leah and Candice May (OMG!), Andy came around, as well as other admirers. I went downstairs, grabbed a seat at the bar. There were some beautiful girls there, and many were sitting next to me. Nickki Stevens was the M/C, as always, GREAT. I tipped the performers, and went back up to catch up with the dance floor. Only I missed my chance, as the prevalent music was more suited to 24 year olds (and wannabe's). I revisited with those still there. I had AGAIN planned to visit my lady friend at her place of employment, and again, I had an escort. I left to go that way (with Andy, as I was driving him home) by 1:20am. Tried to get on M-39 North, but all the entrances were closed. By the time we got back to the freeway, it was after 1:45, well after the last call at my LF's bar. I opted to finish dropping Andy off and going home.

The fog had really settled in, giving the experience of driving while dressed in eerie surroundings a very spooky feeling. I took the long way home, and passed a RR viaduct tunnel I had always wanted to be photographed in. I went home, picked up my tripod, and returned. No traffic, and since no one was around, I stopped just past the No Parking sign. Assembled the camera to the tripod, and walked to the tunnel's walkway. While I've been out in public dressed (and many during the daylight hours), this made me a little nervous, as it was only a few blocks from my home. I took a few photos with and without my sweater, in numerous poses. I forgot my own teachings and took some photos beyond the built-in flash range, and many didn't come out. I took about 20 shots, with 3 more outside on a concrete block (again, out of range). With a digital camera, dust, snow, rain and Fog all leave white dots in the photos (flash pix mostly). Back at home, I took more photos and a video. I was exhausted, and I called it quits. By the time I cleaned up (except for fingernails!) and got to bed it was 4:30am. Wife didn't wake, and I fell asleep almost immediately. I didn't remove the nails until 11am.

I wanted to go out last week, but Easter preempted my needs. I am planning to try Saturday, April 30th., to Gigi's, even though there's a Hellbound honoring Bette Page that night (I don't look like a pin-up any more). I would also like to do Luna in Royal Oak some Friday night, if I can find some girls or gurls to join me.

Huggs, and see you Saturday night!

Oohhh, it felt good. . .

. . . to dress and get out again. I missed March 19th, mostly because I overslept after a big afternoon brunch. Waking up after 8:30pm precluded my dressing to go out. I told the wife I was on my way to shower, shave, and BTW, don't be surprised if I reappear in a dress.... She was less than enthusiastic, so to speak... so guess what?

I had another chance March 26th.
I had planned ahead, and I got started with preps around 6PM- shower, shave and make-up. I was extra careful on the shave, as I hadn't dressed fully in a while. Make-up went well, following a famous movie queen's recommendations for eye lashes and make-up, and some observations I've made over the last few months or so. I put on an outfit planned some months ago, but hadn't had time to try on. While the outfit (brown corduroy jumper, white oxford blouse) was comfortable last year, it seemed somewhat tight now (too much beer?).

I was going out regardless.

I was ready, including nails by 9:30pm. I took a few timer photos (wife was out at the time), and was on my way.

I reached Gigi's by 10:30pm, parked, checked my coat and paid for both levels. Bought a beverage, danced( a LOT), and chatted with a few old friends. I was sorry Jaye Marie didn't make it for me to wish her a "22nd. birthday" for the twentieth time. I talked at length with (the Classic Beauty) Tracy, Leah, Andy, Chris, Megan and the foxxy Mistress X. I saw Sherry (g), Brandy, Kikki, Jacki and Chrissy, and a few others that I can't remember their names (getting old is HELL). I had planned to leave about 1:30am to visit a friend at a str8 bar (with an escort no less). I called her bar, and she had apparently left early (I guess she didn't think I'd show up). I stayed until last call, and left about 2am. I tried to pick-up a snack (@ W.C.) on the way home, but after 2am there is NO fast food around here.

I got home about 2:45am, and made some preparations for photos. 100 photos (and a video) later, I grew tired, so I transferred the images to my PC. Then I removed clothing, wig, make-up and got ready for bed, about 4:45am. I kept the Kiss Press-on Nails in place until after I woke later Sunday morning. The wife woke and asked if I had a good time...

FOLKS: Any time I dress, and especially when I get out, I have a 'good' time!

I want to get out again April 9th., barring schedule conflicts (which usually occurs).
More photos from this night are being added to my Flickr account shortly.

Huggs to all,
Lisa D.

Next outing March 19?

I have approval AND an outfit (that fits) for going out Sat. night. I'm planning on going to Gigi's in Detroit, around 10 PM.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. . .

Always Something!

I was planning to attend the Noir Leather Hellbound Fetish event tonight (2/26/11), but I discovered that I couldn't fit into ANY of my fetish clothing. Add to that the snow which started falling, and I opted not to buy a ticket and go. I'm planning to get real with my diet and beer consumption, starting this week.

The last time I went out was Saturday,Feb. 12th, to Gigi's. The wife went out to do shopping, so I started the preparations early. I bought fingernails, headed home, took a shower and began the make-up process about 6PM. I was done in about an hour and a half (with the make-up, that is). It took me longer to find an outfit that I could fit into without looking like a cow! My black knit sweater dress was clean, and I opted to wear that (the dress is over 25 years old). I then had to choose footwear and wig- and decided on black hi-heeled boots and my longer red /black one from Han Beauty Supply in Redford. I was ready about 9:30pm, and needed to clean a couple of places to take photos. I took a few photos before leaving (make-up always looks best right after application), which was about 10:00pm.

I arrived @ Gigi's around 10:20pm, was given my choice of parking spots by the Attendant, paid my cover charge ($5 up & downstairs) and checked my coat. Russ was taking the fees this time (a real sweetheart). I went in, saw a lot of my friends in attendance, and bought a beverage before finding a place to sit down. I talked to Jaye Marie, Christie, Jackie, Leah, and Shari (formerly Debbie) who just lost her wife to illness. I also talked to Angela and Tarah, and took both of their photos (Angela is such a camera whore). I also talked to Chris and Andy, and met a out of towner TG named Joan. Joan was a lot of fun to talk to, my age, and a real nice person. I look forward to her next visit! Also present were Mandy, Michelle, Kiki, and Marcy. I was introduced to a CD who, it turned out, was trolling for cocksuckers. Once she tried to get into my bathroom stall, which I prevented, she left me alone (looking for others, I saw). They played my kind of music later than usual, so I danced more than usual. The bartenders (Dave and Tony) were wonderful as always!

I stayed around until about 1:45am, and had Andy take a couple of photos before I left. I drove Andy (AKA The Impaler) home (we've known each other for many years) on my way home. I skipped a food stop at 2AM, and started taking photos immediately on arrival. I finished up about 3:20am, and changed back to male drab. I was in bed by 3:45am.

I wish I could have made the Hellbound tonight, but there will be another one sometime before the summer and boating season.

December 4th outing

With all the hustle and bustle of life lately, I didn't think I'd get out any more this year! I was out 7 times in the spring (B4 boating season), and I've been out once in September and once in October (Halloween night). It wasn't looking good...

We have a full weekend schedule through Christmas, with 2 exceptions- The 4th. and 18th. I grabbed the opportunity on the 4th., as the wife was out Christmas shopping. I did my fingernail shopping early, and began my dressing prep work about 5PM. I had my outfit in mind, and being done with my make-up by 8PM, I expected be dressed and leave by 9PM. I hadn't counted on the fact I was unable to fit into the outfit planned (or just about any outfit I could think of). After much searching and try-ons, I settled on a favorite white blouse (Meijers), black stretch mini-skirt (Salvation Army Thrift Shop), black vest (K-Mart), black pantyhose, and black boots (Payless). I selected my "Manic Panic" red bob wig from Incognito over two other wig choices, to be different. I attached the Kiss One-step press-on nails, and was finally ready to leave around 10:15PM. I took a few photos, and left around 10:30PM.

I arrived at Gigi's, parked and went inside. I paid for both levels (never made it downstairs), checked my coat, and noted a few friends scattered about the bar. I chatted with Jaye Marie, Christie, g/f Laurie Beth, 'Debbie' (I forgot her NEW name), Jackie, and 3 regular admirers. I saw, but didn't converse with Mandy, Brandy, Kiki and Mistress Alicia. I bought a beverage and visited, did some dancing and a lot of gurl watching. I even went and tipped Tony behind the bar for being my savior on Halloween (see previous blog). At one point I snagged 'Cree', an admirer, to take a couple of photos of me while sitting on the speakers in Gigi's (above). I hung around until about 1:45AM, when the place began to empty out. A fight between 2 Lesbians broke out, and I chose to leave. I retrieved my coat , and on the way out of the parking lot I tipped the attendant (he's always so sweet), and made my way home.

I stopped at the W.C. near home on the way (about 2:00am), but they were slow as usual, so I opted to head straight home and get my photo session started. I have the camera's self-timer set to take 3 photos each press of the shutter release. I switched wigs to see what the other 2 choices would look like with the make-up and outfit. I filled one 1GB card, and took more on my 2GB card before quitting. I even took 2 videos, which will need to be edited (for both time and content). I just have to re-install the troublesome editing software first. I cleaned up, put things away, and uploaded the cards to my PC. I didn't eat before turning in, and I left my fingernails on until later. I was in bed by 4AM.

I will have to go through my clothes collection and launder and store what fits, and donate what I'll never be able to wear again. I am embarking on a diet (wrong season I think) and exercise program to salvage some of my wardrobe. With any kind of luck, I'll be out on the 18th.

A couple of people (including the 'shot' boy), asked me if I was having a good time.
I always have a good time when I dress and go out in public. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to become en femme.

Glorious Fall!

Hello, all!
After a 4 month hiatus from dressing, I finally got a chance to dress and go out on Saturday, Sept. 18th.
The wife, a neighbor and I went to the Eastern Market in Detroit for some fall produce Saturday, and didn't get back until 3pm. The wife wanted a draft beer, so we visited our favorite watering hole. We returned home about 5:30pm, and I immediately went back out for some fingernails. Once home I showered, shaved and began my make-up job. I borrowed a top from the wife (had been hanging up in the bathroom for 2 months), as well as a necklace (and deodorant). Since I had not been dressing since May, it took me a little while to find all my clothing. I also realized I was out of shape, so I wore a corset. I could barely bend over to put on my pantyhose! Managing that, I scrounged up some jewelry, a pair of boots (in case of rain) and a pair of pumps. I tried the boots and pumps with the outfit, and decided on the pumps. I put on the Kiss stick-on nails and had the wife take some photos (3).

I left the house after 10:30pm, and arrived at Gigi's about 11pm. I paid for both levels, but never got to the show downstairs. The bar was not crowded, and I think the admirers outnumbered the gurls. I saw Jaye Marie first, we hugged, and got myself a beverage. I sat down, and noticed Audrey talking with 3 other gurls, and as they got up from their seats I went over to say hi. They were leaving to find another place to dance that had last decades music to dance to (the Backstreet, I think). I then noticed one of the group was an old friend, Stephanie. I had not seen her in a few years, and was saddened when she was leaving as well. I wanted to catch up on the past years...

Anyway, once they left (and Jaye disappeared as well), I was pretty much on my own. I did see Dawn Legluver, but she wasn't there for much longer, either. The only other gurl I knew by name was Rachel, and she was dancing her pretty ass off. The music was too "young" for me, so I didn't dance. I talked to the two admirers I've known for years, and just watched the crowd. I moved to next to the speaker, kind of leaned against admirer Chris, who seemed to get physically excited with my body contact. I was hit on by at least 4 guys, and eyeballed by many more. There were a few other gurls there, either into playing pool, or to pick up a guy for later. Not wanting to sound catty, but most of the gurls still there looked like fullbacks in dresses. I moved and sat on top of a speaker to avoid many of the guys, and to be seen better . I still had 2 more guys try to hit on me, and one guy standing close, ogling my legs (and hoping for a leg shot, which I'm sure he got). After rebuffing the two admirers, the guy looking at my legs approached me, touched my legs and confessed he was a pantyhose freak. He wanted to buy my used pantyhose from me! I told him no, but allowed him to stroke my lower legs while I was on the speaker. I asked him to take a couple of photos of me sitting there, which he quickly agreed to do (see the photo). After the photos, I asked him to help me to get down from the speaker. He did manage a quick feel of my upper thighs and ass in the process. At 2:00am, I left for home.

I went straight home, no stops. Once there, I broke out the camera tripod, cleaned a couple of settings and began to take photos. I took my equipment out to the driveway to take some photos in our car. As I was setting up, the neighbor across the street came home with others. I stepper in front of the car, and waited almost 20 minutes for them to leave again. I hastily snapped a few photos, and retreated to the safety of the house. A few more photos wearing the boots, and it was 3:45am already. I put the equipment away, uploaded the photos to my PC, and changed back to male drab. As been the habit (since the kids moved out), I kept the nails on until the next day- I wanted to get the most out of a set of disposable fingernails!

Being dressed and going out again was heaven on earth for me. The boat is still in the water, but the racing season is over. I expect to get out more on a regular schedule once the boat has been hauled out and stored. Since I didn't know I was being allowed to dress until Saturday, I didn't have time to post my plans. I will rectify that in the future.

I loved getting out and the attention I got! Looking forward to many more outings as Lisa.
Huggs!

Summer is nearly here. . .

. . . and my dressing time is waning.

My youngest son got married in the beginning of May, and that meant being busy in April with wedding plans. Didn't get a chance to dress.

Now in May, I'm busy getting our boat ready for the sailing season. I had planned to go out on May 8th to Gigi's in Detroit. Earlier that day (I don't like scheduling events on my outing day, as something always goes awry), my wife and I went out for a Mother's Day meal with the newlyweds at a restaurant called the Red Coat Tavern. The meal was very good, and they had an excellent microbrew beer called 'Thelonius Monk' of which I had three (pints). The brew was 9% alcohol, and I was feeling little pain when we left. My wife wanted additional draft beer (against my better judgment), so I agreed as long as I would have time to get ready to go out. Two more draft pints later, we got home. By that time, I was pretty much wasted.

I had a strong urge to dress, but I had a serious coordination problem. The last time I was like that and went out dressed, I was stopped for DUIL. I still had a need to get dressed, so I did, but knew I wasn't going anywhere. It took me an hour to find my razor (my wife had relocated it) and get my first shave. Since I wasn't going to be in the public eye, I only shaved once. I also used some new make-up the wife bought herself for the wedding- foundation, powder, blush and mascara (no false eyelashes this time). I used my eye shadow, brow powder (I did not conceal my real eyebrows either) and eyeliner. When I applied my lipstick, I overshot my lower lip, and didn't bother to re-do it. I decided to wear a jumper and white knit long sleeved top both destined for the wash, and no waist cincher, and with black high heels and white pantyhose. I didn't bother with finger nails, since I was staying home. I was fully dressed by 10 PM, just in time for the Red Wings / Sharks playoff game.

The wife came home with her carry-out dinner just as I finished my preparations. We both watched the game, disappointed in the results (Red Wings lost, and were eliminated from the play-offs). Wifey stayed up for a few minutes cleaning up her after dinner, and went to bed. She had sat next to me for the whole game, and treated me as if I wasn't dressed (much to my surprise). She even kissed me good night (on the cheek, though)!

After she went to bed, I pulled out my camera, and began snapping pictures (self-timer), and taking a video or two before I began to tire, which was about 3:30 AM. I did an outfit change once, wearing just my Red Wings jersey, pantyhose and red high heels during the photo shoot (posted on my Flikr page). I put things away, checked my e-mail and Flickr page, and downloaded my camera cards to my PC while still dressed. I removed my clothes and make-up and was in bed by about 4:15 AM. When I viewed the photos I took later on Sunday, I was amazed by how well I looked! For a hurried, uncoordinated attempt at make-up, it didn't look too bad (for the camera).

I am hoping I can get one more opportunity to dress and go out to Gigi's on Saturday, May 22nd., before the boat gets launched and Memorial Day weekend's annual sail happens. Once summer is here, I will have precious little time to go out dressed. If I can't go out, I pray I will be able to find time to dress enfemme for short periods of time.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

I was (finally) out again last Saturday!

I managed to arrange the time, so I dressed and went out to Gigi's in Detroit last Saturday (1/9). The wife wanted to visit a local tavern before I started my transformation, so I got
a later start than I wanted (but the wife was happy). The make-up was the easiest part this time, and it came out better than I expected. I had a couple of outfits planned, but couldn't find everything I was looking for. I haven't bought Lisa any new clothes in a couple of years, so I usually put something together that I have not worn in a few months. My clothes aren't fitting so well as I get older (and bigger), so my selection is getting smaller. I found (and settled on) my brown corduroy jumper, white blouse, suntan pantyhose, boots and a short wig. I couldn't find one of the the shoes I was going to wear at the club, so I opted
to stay in the boots all night. I finished my dressing with the addition of some jewelry and perfume. I set up the camera and tripod, took some photos, unhooked the camera, put it in my
purse, said goodbye to the wife (busy in her office) and left about 10:00pm (she didn't notice the short outfit with a coat on!).

I stopped at an ATM for cash, and arrived at Gigi's around 10:40pm. I managed to get a
parking spot close enough to the building that I could use my remote starter when ready to
leave. Once inside, I paid for both levels (but didn't go down to see the show, yet again) and
headed to the bar. While waiting for the waitress, I was greeted by Emma and Jaye Marie.
Also there were Jackie, Chrissie, Laurie Beth, Debbie, Brandie, Kelly and Tracy. Shelly was also there, but ignored me as her usual way. I visited around, noting some new faces, as well as some familiar ones who haven't been there in a while. There were two mature gurls there, showing the rest of us how it is done! Later more arrived- Anastasia, Kiki, Marcy, Michelle and a Hott DQ performer from Toledo, just to mention a few. I danced as long as the 'good' music played, watched the pool players some, and visited the rest of the time. As the crowd began to disperse (after 1:30am), I finally got a chance to chat with Lynn, a gurl I haven't
seen in over 3 years (she claims to have a photo of us together). I said my farewells, and
headed to the door. I started my vehicle, and recovered my coat from the coat check. After a
5 minute warm-up, I left for home. I stopped for a snack at the WC (which I finished before
arriving home), and arrived home around 2:15am.

The wife was already asleep when I arrived, so I set up the camera and took lots of photos,
and a video as well. I had planned on doing some outfit changes and even a photo or two out
in the snow, but the hour was late (about 4:00am), and I was getting tired. I took care of
my heightened physical needs and changed back to drab. I left my Kiss Stick-on nails and a
bracelet in place till the morning. One of my New Years resolutions is to clean-up and
organize Lisa's things so they can be found easier. I even found the missing shoe while
putting my worn clothes away.

This was my first outing of the year, and the first since Dec. 7th. I am planning to go out
again Jan. 23rd., and have scheduled an outing in March for the Annual Crossroads Chapter dinner/dance. I thoroughly enjoyed my night out dressed enfemme!

Huggs to all,

Last time out . .

. . was Dec. 7th, 2009.
December was a busy month for me, so I didn't have time to update this blog.I haven't worn this outfit for almost a year- white pantyhose, black knit jumper (from the 1990's), leather boots and a white turtleneck sweater. I opted to wear my black bob wig, which is also from the 90's (I tried to mimic a look in photos taken 10 years ago). I had gotten the earliest start in years, and was ready to leave by 8:45pm- my wife wasn't home to complain about the dress length. I took a few photos before leaving, and headed out, stopping at an ATM before arriving at Gigi's.

The parking lot was nearly empty, so I got a good spot. I went in, paid for both levels, and headed upstairs. I was greeted by Jaye Marie, Jackie and Chrissy. I ordered a drink, and made my rounds. Being there early, the place wasn't too busy, and the music DJ Russ spun was easy for me to dance to. Between dances, Jaye introduced me to a (lovely) new face, Kelly. By 11pm, the place filled up. I didn't go down to see the show this time, but I did some schmoozing upstairs instead. I saw Anton (The Impaler), Megan, Brian Behave, and others who's names I forgot (getting older is a bitch).

Around 1am I made my rounds, said my good-byes and left. I arrived at home about 1:45am, and since the wife was sleeping, I started to take as many photos (and a video or two) as my memory card could hold. Around 3am, I shut down the photo session and changed back to drab. The only concession I made was to leave the Kiss Stick-on nails on my fingers until the next morning- I wanted to get my moneys worth out of the nails (being home without the kids around allows me more freedom).

Dec. 19th. we were out of town, Dec. 26th and Jan. 2nd I was down with a cold which turned into the flu. I am looking forward to going out tomorrow night (Jan. 9th) to Gigi's. Should everything work out, I'll also be out 1/23. I am also planning to attend the Crossroads Chapter Anniversary dinner/dance in March.

Huggs to all!
