Summer is nearly here. . .

. . . and my dressing time is waning.

My youngest son got married in the beginning of May, and that meant being busy in April with wedding plans. Didn't get a chance to dress.

Now in May, I'm busy getting our boat ready for the sailing season. I had planned to go out on May 8th to Gigi's in Detroit. Earlier that day (I don't like scheduling events on my outing day, as something always goes awry), my wife and I went out for a Mother's Day meal with the newlyweds at a restaurant called the Red Coat Tavern. The meal was very good, and they had an excellent microbrew beer called 'Thelonius Monk' of which I had three (pints). The brew was 9% alcohol, and I was feeling little pain when we left. My wife wanted additional draft beer (against my better judgment), so I agreed as long as I would have time to get ready to go out. Two more draft pints later, we got home. By that time, I was pretty much wasted.

I had a strong urge to dress, but I had a serious coordination problem. The last time I was like that and went out dressed, I was stopped for DUIL. I still had a need to get dressed, so I did, but knew I wasn't going anywhere. It took me an hour to find my razor (my wife had relocated it) and get my first shave. Since I wasn't going to be in the public eye, I only shaved once. I also used some new make-up the wife bought herself for the wedding- foundation, powder, blush and mascara (no false eyelashes this time). I used my eye shadow, brow powder (I did not conceal my real eyebrows either) and eyeliner. When I applied my lipstick, I overshot my lower lip, and didn't bother to re-do it. I decided to wear a jumper and white knit long sleeved top both destined for the wash, and no waist cincher, and with black high heels and white pantyhose. I didn't bother with finger nails, since I was staying home. I was fully dressed by 10 PM, just in time for the Red Wings / Sharks playoff game.

The wife came home with her carry-out dinner just as I finished my preparations. We both watched the game, disappointed in the results (Red Wings lost, and were eliminated from the play-offs). Wifey stayed up for a few minutes cleaning up her after dinner, and went to bed. She had sat next to me for the whole game, and treated me as if I wasn't dressed (much to my surprise). She even kissed me good night (on the cheek, though)!

After she went to bed, I pulled out my camera, and began snapping pictures (self-timer), and taking a video or two before I began to tire, which was about 3:30 AM. I did an outfit change once, wearing just my Red Wings jersey, pantyhose and red high heels during the photo shoot (posted on my Flikr page). I put things away, checked my e-mail and Flickr page, and downloaded my camera cards to my PC while still dressed. I removed my clothes and make-up and was in bed by about 4:15 AM. When I viewed the photos I took later on Sunday, I was amazed by how well I looked! For a hurried, uncoordinated attempt at make-up, it didn't look too bad (for the camera).

I am hoping I can get one more opportunity to dress and go out to Gigi's on Saturday, May 22nd., before the boat gets launched and Memorial Day weekend's annual sail happens. Once summer is here, I will have precious little time to go out dressed. If I can't go out, I pray I will be able to find time to dress enfemme for short periods of time.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

I was (finally) out again last Saturday!

I managed to arrange the time, so I dressed and went out to Gigi's in Detroit last Saturday (1/9). The wife wanted to visit a local tavern before I started my transformation, so I got
a later start than I wanted (but the wife was happy). The make-up was the easiest part this time, and it came out better than I expected. I had a couple of outfits planned, but couldn't find everything I was looking for. I haven't bought Lisa any new clothes in a couple of years, so I usually put something together that I have not worn in a few months. My clothes aren't fitting so well as I get older (and bigger), so my selection is getting smaller. I found (and settled on) my brown corduroy jumper, white blouse, suntan pantyhose, boots and a short wig. I couldn't find one of the the shoes I was going to wear at the club, so I opted
to stay in the boots all night. I finished my dressing with the addition of some jewelry and perfume. I set up the camera and tripod, took some photos, unhooked the camera, put it in my
purse, said goodbye to the wife (busy in her office) and left about 10:00pm (she didn't notice the short outfit with a coat on!).

I stopped at an ATM for cash, and arrived at Gigi's around 10:40pm. I managed to get a
parking spot close enough to the building that I could use my remote starter when ready to
leave. Once inside, I paid for both levels (but didn't go down to see the show, yet again) and
headed to the bar. While waiting for the waitress, I was greeted by Emma and Jaye Marie.
Also there were Jackie, Chrissie, Laurie Beth, Debbie, Brandie, Kelly and Tracy. Shelly was also there, but ignored me as her usual way. I visited around, noting some new faces, as well as some familiar ones who haven't been there in a while. There were two mature gurls there, showing the rest of us how it is done! Later more arrived- Anastasia, Kiki, Marcy, Michelle and a Hott DQ performer from Toledo, just to mention a few. I danced as long as the 'good' music played, watched the pool players some, and visited the rest of the time. As the crowd began to disperse (after 1:30am), I finally got a chance to chat with Lynn, a gurl I haven't
seen in over 3 years (she claims to have a photo of us together). I said my farewells, and
headed to the door. I started my vehicle, and recovered my coat from the coat check. After a
5 minute warm-up, I left for home. I stopped for a snack at the WC (which I finished before
arriving home), and arrived home around 2:15am.

The wife was already asleep when I arrived, so I set up the camera and took lots of photos,
and a video as well. I had planned on doing some outfit changes and even a photo or two out
in the snow, but the hour was late (about 4:00am), and I was getting tired. I took care of
my heightened physical needs and changed back to drab. I left my Kiss Stick-on nails and a
bracelet in place till the morning. One of my New Years resolutions is to clean-up and
organize Lisa's things so they can be found easier. I even found the missing shoe while
putting my worn clothes away.

This was my first outing of the year, and the first since Dec. 7th. I am planning to go out
again Jan. 23rd., and have scheduled an outing in March for the Annual Crossroads Chapter dinner/dance. I thoroughly enjoyed my night out dressed enfemme!

Huggs to all,

Last time out . .

. . was Dec. 7th, 2009.
December was a busy month for me, so I didn't have time to update this blog.I haven't worn this outfit for almost a year- white pantyhose, black knit jumper (from the 1990's), leather boots and a white turtleneck sweater. I opted to wear my black bob wig, which is also from the 90's (I tried to mimic a look in photos taken 10 years ago). I had gotten the earliest start in years, and was ready to leave by 8:45pm- my wife wasn't home to complain about the dress length. I took a few photos before leaving, and headed out, stopping at an ATM before arriving at Gigi's.

The parking lot was nearly empty, so I got a good spot. I went in, paid for both levels, and headed upstairs. I was greeted by Jaye Marie, Jackie and Chrissy. I ordered a drink, and made my rounds. Being there early, the place wasn't too busy, and the music DJ Russ spun was easy for me to dance to. Between dances, Jaye introduced me to a (lovely) new face, Kelly. By 11pm, the place filled up. I didn't go down to see the show this time, but I did some schmoozing upstairs instead. I saw Anton (The Impaler), Megan, Brian Behave, and others who's names I forgot (getting older is a bitch).

Around 1am I made my rounds, said my good-byes and left. I arrived at home about 1:45am, and since the wife was sleeping, I started to take as many photos (and a video or two) as my memory card could hold. Around 3am, I shut down the photo session and changed back to drab. The only concession I made was to leave the Kiss Stick-on nails on my fingers until the next morning- I wanted to get my moneys worth out of the nails (being home without the kids around allows me more freedom).

Dec. 19th. we were out of town, Dec. 26th and Jan. 2nd I was down with a cold which turned into the flu. I am looking forward to going out tomorrow night (Jan. 9th) to Gigi's. Should everything work out, I'll also be out 1/23. I am also planning to attend the Crossroads Chapter Anniversary dinner/dance in March.

Huggs to all!

Went out Oct. 14th...

Oh Hell YES!

I managed to get out once again on Saturday last (11/14/09). I got a later start than I wanted, but I acceded to the wife's wishes for socializing prior to my dressing (what can you do?) I was finally ready about 9:30pm (after trying on various outfits and wigs), but I still had to do the nails. I finally left around 10:30pm, and had a photo taken by the wife before I left (uncluttered background settings were extremely limited). I stopped to buy gas on the way, and was eye-balled by a number of (male) patrons.

I arrived at Gigi's around 10:45pm, and got a prime parking spot. I went in, paid only for upstairs and sashayed my way in. I saw many of my friends immediately- Tracy, Debbie, Brandie, Leah, Jacki, Chrissy, Laurie Beth and Anton. I ordered a ginger ale, and said hi to those I recognized. Other gurls who walked in (or came up from the show) were Wendy Seymone, Megan (finally in gurl mode), Jaye Marie, Brian, Angela, Tammy Brianne and a few gurls I've talked to before, but don't remember their names. Russ was spinning the tunes I could dance to, so I did! Once the music got too young for me, I circulated around, chatting up many of the ladies. Apparently there was a 'tour'group there, and someone with a boat air horn kept calling the missing people for departure- What a distraction AND a headache! Jaye introduced me to a gorgeous gal I hadn't seen before, and who I can't recall her name (damn my failing memory). I hung around till closing and left before the moment of truth (when the lights come on, and you find out if your make-up cuts it or not).

I got home around 2:25am, and the wife was already in bed. I cleared a spot in our living room so I could take some pictures (and a video or two as well). I shot for almost 45 minutes, and decided to try on the Star Trek "Uhura" dress I bought for Halloween. It was a tight fit, but I still love it (I'm going to get a custom made one by next Halloween). A dozen more photos in different wigs, and settings (outdoor) before I filled the memory card. Since it was way after 4:00am, I reluctantly put away the photo gear and made my change back to male mode, after cleaning up the pile of wigs and clothing I had created!

All in all, it was simply wonderful to dress and get out again. My last outings since May were Hellbound on Oct. 10th, and Gigi's Sept. 19th. I hope to get out on Nov. 28th.(if I'm lucky), which is another Hellbound night. Thanks to all the gurls who welcomed me back- it made all my effort worth it!!!
Huggs,

oops! Didn't make it out...

I didn't go out tonight- I'm feeling kind of ill, so I opted to stay home instead. I hope to try again on the 14th,. if I'm healthy.

The following weekends are questionable, so it may be December before I am able to go out again. Keep tuned.
I'm on my way to bed and some sleep...

Lisa

Tonite, 11/7/09

I know it is short notice, but I thought I'd let my friends know I'm dressing and going out tonight. I will probably do Gigi's, my favorite T* friendly establishment.

Hopefully I'll have some photos to post tomorrow...
