Trying to keep up. . .

. . . with life.
I normally try to dress and go out every other weekend during the fall through April (when possible). Summers are out. I can't seem to get schedules to work as I once did.

I did get the chance to get out on April 9th, to Gigi's. Again my wife found a reason to be gone. I was surprised that the make-up went well. The skirt was guaranteed to fit, and the only choice was which top. I chose a cardigan I had worn once before with the same top and skirt, and looked good at that time. I had already chosen the red with black wig I bought from Han's in Redford (tried it on in drag) from the earlier incarnation of the outfit. At 9:30 I was applying my nails, took some photos, and left home by ten PM.

There was construction on M-39, but managed to miss any back-ups. Traffic was on the Northbound side as well. Arrived @ Gigi's about 10:30pm. Paid for both levels, headed upstairs. Bought a beverage, and visited with Sherry, Leah and Candice May (OMG!), Andy came around, as well as other admirers. I went downstairs, grabbed a seat at the bar. There were some beautiful girls there, and many were sitting next to me. Nickki Stevens was the M/C, as always, GREAT. I tipped the performers, and went back up to catch up with the dance floor. Only I missed my chance, as the prevalent music was more suited to 24 year olds (and wannabe's). I revisited with those still there. I had AGAIN planned to visit my lady friend at her place of employment, and again, I had an escort. I left to go that way (with Andy, as I was driving him home) by 1:20am. Tried to get on M-39 North, but all the entrances were closed. By the time we got back to the freeway, it was after 1:45, well after the last call at my LF's bar. I opted to finish dropping Andy off and going home.

The fog had really settled in, giving the experience of driving while dressed in eerie surroundings a very spooky feeling. I took the long way home, and passed a RR viaduct tunnel I had always wanted to be photographed in. I went home, picked up my tripod, and returned. No traffic, and since no one was around, I stopped just past the No Parking sign. Assembled the camera to the tripod, and walked to the tunnel's walkway. While I've been out in public dressed (and many during the daylight hours), this made me a little nervous, as it was only a few blocks from my home. I took a few photos with and without my sweater, in numerous poses. I forgot my own teachings and took some photos beyond the built-in flash range, and many didn't come out. I took about 20 shots, with 3 more outside on a concrete block (again, out of range). With a digital camera, dust, snow, rain and Fog all leave white dots in the photos (flash pix mostly). Back at home, I took more photos and a video. I was exhausted, and I called it quits. By the time I cleaned up (except for fingernails!) and got to bed it was 4:30am. Wife didn't wake, and I fell asleep almost immediately. I didn't remove the nails until 11am.

I wanted to go out last week, but Easter preempted my needs. I am planning to try Saturday, April 30th., to Gigi's, even though there's a Hellbound honoring Bette Page that night (I don't look like a pin-up any more). I would also like to do Luna in Royal Oak some Friday night, if I can find some girls or gurls to join me.

Huggs, and see you Saturday night!

Oohhh, it felt good. . .

. . . to dress and get out again. I missed March 19th, mostly because I overslept after a big afternoon brunch. Waking up after 8:30pm precluded my dressing to go out. I told the wife I was on my way to shower, shave, and BTW, don't be surprised if I reappear in a dress.... She was less than enthusiastic, so to speak... so guess what?

I had another chance March 26th.
I had planned ahead, and I got started with preps around 6PM- shower, shave and make-up. I was extra careful on the shave, as I hadn't dressed fully in a while. Make-up went well, following a famous movie queen's recommendations for eye lashes and make-up, and some observations I've made over the last few months or so. I put on an outfit planned some months ago, but hadn't had time to try on. While the outfit (brown corduroy jumper, white oxford blouse) was comfortable last year, it seemed somewhat tight now (too much beer?).

I was going out regardless.

I was ready, including nails by 9:30pm. I took a few timer photos (wife was out at the time), and was on my way.

I reached Gigi's by 10:30pm, parked, checked my coat and paid for both levels. Bought a beverage, danced( a LOT), and chatted with a few old friends. I was sorry Jaye Marie didn't make it for me to wish her a "22nd. birthday" for the twentieth time. I talked at length with (the Classic Beauty) Tracy, Leah, Andy, Chris, Megan and the foxxy Mistress X. I saw Sherry (g), Brandy, Kikki, Jacki and Chrissy, and a few others that I can't remember their names (getting old is HELL). I had planned to leave about 1:30am to visit a friend at a str8 bar (with an escort no less). I called her bar, and she had apparently left early (I guess she didn't think I'd show up). I stayed until last call, and left about 2am. I tried to pick-up a snack (@ W.C.) on the way home, but after 2am there is NO fast food around here.

I got home about 2:45am, and made some preparations for photos. 100 photos (and a video) later, I grew tired, so I transferred the images to my PC. Then I removed clothing, wig, make-up and got ready for bed, about 4:45am. I kept the Kiss Press-on Nails in place until after I woke later Sunday morning. The wife woke and asked if I had a good time...

FOLKS: Any time I dress, and especially when I get out, I have a 'good' time!

I want to get out again April 9th., barring schedule conflicts (which usually occurs).
More photos from this night are being added to my Flickr account shortly.

Huggs to all,
Lisa D.
