December 4th outing

With all the hustle and bustle of life lately, I didn't think I'd get out any more this year! I was out 7 times in the spring (B4 boating season), and I've been out once in September and once in October (Halloween night). It wasn't looking good...

We have a full weekend schedule through Christmas, with 2 exceptions- The 4th. and 18th. I grabbed the opportunity on the 4th., as the wife was out Christmas shopping. I did my fingernail shopping early, and began my dressing prep work about 5PM. I had my outfit in mind, and being done with my make-up by 8PM, I expected be dressed and leave by 9PM. I hadn't counted on the fact I was unable to fit into the outfit planned (or just about any outfit I could think of). After much searching and try-ons, I settled on a favorite white blouse (Meijers), black stretch mini-skirt (Salvation Army Thrift Shop), black vest (K-Mart), black pantyhose, and black boots (Payless). I selected my "Manic Panic" red bob wig from Incognito over two other wig choices, to be different. I attached the Kiss One-step press-on nails, and was finally ready to leave around 10:15PM. I took a few photos, and left around 10:30PM.

I arrived at Gigi's, parked and went inside. I paid for both levels (never made it downstairs), checked my coat, and noted a few friends scattered about the bar. I chatted with Jaye Marie, Christie, g/f Laurie Beth, 'Debbie' (I forgot her NEW name), Jackie, and 3 regular admirers. I saw, but didn't converse with Mandy, Brandy, Kiki and Mistress Alicia. I bought a beverage and visited, did some dancing and a lot of gurl watching. I even went and tipped Tony behind the bar for being my savior on Halloween (see previous blog). At one point I snagged 'Cree', an admirer, to take a couple of photos of me while sitting on the speakers in Gigi's (above). I hung around until about 1:45AM, when the place began to empty out. A fight between 2 Lesbians broke out, and I chose to leave. I retrieved my coat , and on the way out of the parking lot I tipped the attendant (he's always so sweet), and made my way home.

I stopped at the W.C. near home on the way (about 2:00am), but they were slow as usual, so I opted to head straight home and get my photo session started. I have the camera's self-timer set to take 3 photos each press of the shutter release. I switched wigs to see what the other 2 choices would look like with the make-up and outfit. I filled one 1GB card, and took more on my 2GB card before quitting. I even took 2 videos, which will need to be edited (for both time and content). I just have to re-install the troublesome editing software first. I cleaned up, put things away, and uploaded the cards to my PC. I didn't eat before turning in, and I left my fingernails on until later. I was in bed by 4AM.

I will have to go through my clothes collection and launder and store what fits, and donate what I'll never be able to wear again. I am embarking on a diet (wrong season I think) and exercise program to salvage some of my wardrobe. With any kind of luck, I'll be out on the 18th.

A couple of people (including the 'shot' boy), asked me if I was having a good time.
I always have a good time when I dress and go out in public. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity to become en femme.

Huggs,
Lisa D.

Halloween outing

Well, after 5 years of not going out dressed at Halloween, I finally got a chance Sunday. The wife has insisted we attend friends and organizations Halloween parties, which left Lisa out. This year however, all the parties skipped the 31st., so I seized the opportunity!

We went out Saturday night, and partied till well after 1am, leaving me tired and a little tipsy. Sunday, the wife took our kids out for dinner, leaving me home alone to dress. I shopped for pantyhose and fingernails around 6pm, but by the time I got home, I wasn't feeling too well. I almost gave up. After a little while, I started my preparation, knowing I could always stay home, or go to bed. After shaving and starting with the make-up, the old desires came back and urged me on. The make-up was the easy part- the dress I was to wear required my corset, and a lot of work to get into. Since the dress was form fitting, I added some hip and butt padding to amplify the corset's effect. I opted for a different wig and boots than I had planned on. I was ready by 9:45pm to leave, and had the wife take a couple of photos on my way out. I was nearly to Gigi's when I realized I hadn't taken my house keys or my cell phone with me!

Once I parked and paid my admission fee, I looked for a payphone, forgetting the Phone Company got out of the payphone business. I explained my dilemma to Tony behind the bar, and he took me to the kitchen and showed me their business phone. What a Doll! I called the wife, and made arrangements for access when I returned home. Feeling somewhat better, I bought a beverage and wandered around, eying costumes. There weren't a lot of people there, but most wore some kind of costume. There were a lot of GG's there, mostly arm in arm. They had taken out the bar stools along the one counter (to make room for the crowd they expected), and since I wasn't going to stand for 3 hours or more, I grabbed a seat at the end of the bar next to the dance floor. It wasn't long before the place filled up. I had turned around in the seat to look at the crowd, which garnered me a lot of bumps and banging of the knees. One particular young boy was indifferent to barging his way past me (and others at the bar) numerous times- I nearly stood up and punched him!

There was a mini-show with the new Gigi's title holders, M/C'd by Nickki Stevens, dancing and the costume contest followed at midnight (I didn't enter). It was so packed I had to stand up on the stool's rungs to see anything going on. There were many girls and guys dressed up as the opposite sex, traditional Halloween costumes and some far-out ones as well. I noticed few of the regular Saturday T*'s in attendance. Once the contest was over, awards given, and photo ops done, the crowd dissipated quickly. I moved to the far end of the bar to visit with G/F Leah, and had a couple of photos taken with her (she was dressed as a "White Russian"). With my corset on, I wasn't able to consume more than one beverage, so I was going to leave early. When I noticed the time (1:40am), I made my rounds to say goodbye to those I know. An Angela I know was wearing her coat, so I hadn't noticed she was also in a StarTrek outfit- great minds think alike...

I left by 1:50am, and headed straight home, obeying all laws (the Police were out in force), and arrived home by 2:10am. I took a couple of dozen photos, but didn't go outside for any. I uploaded the photos to my PC, took off the clothes and make-up, and cleaned up my 'photo studio'. I was in bed by 3:30am.

It was a pretty good time, considering I was uncomfortable feeling all night. I loved being out on Halloween again, and got a lot of compliments on my 'costume'. There were a few men who tried to pick me up, but I'm not that kind of gal. Besides, they were drunk and their breath really stunk! I'm hoping to go out again on the 16th., because I don't think the wife will let me out two weeks in a row, and the 6th is time change weekend.

Halloween 2010

Have you ever noticed...

... how things don't always work out as planned. I didn't have the time to dress and go out Oct. 2nd. following storing our boat, I went to a funeral Oct. 9th., the annual club work day Oct. 16th., and a straight Halloween party the 23rd. We are going to another straight Halloween party yet tonight. My wife won't let me dress as Lisa for any of those parties.. ;>(

I am going out tomorrow night (10/31/10) to Gigi's Cabaret in Detroit for the real Crossdressers Holiday! It has been a few years since I've gone out on a Halloween crossdressed. I am going to wear this StarTrek outfit, and either this wig or my longer red / black wig with a 'bump-it' to give me the poof at the crown (like the 70's actresses wore).

Since I have nothing planned Monday, I expect to stay out late, enjoying the feelings...

Glorious Fall!

Hello, all!
After a 4 month hiatus from dressing, I finally got a chance to dress and go out on Saturday, Sept. 18th.
The wife, a neighbor and I went to the Eastern Market in Detroit for some fall produce Saturday, and didn't get back until 3pm. The wife wanted a draft beer, so we visited our favorite watering hole. We returned home about 5:30pm, and I immediately went back out for some fingernails. Once home I showered, shaved and began my make-up job. I borrowed a top from the wife (had been hanging up in the bathroom for 2 months), as well as a necklace (and deodorant). Since I had not been dressing since May, it took me a little while to find all my clothing. I also realized I was out of shape, so I wore a corset. I could barely bend over to put on my pantyhose! Managing that, I scrounged up some jewelry, a pair of boots (in case of rain) and a pair of pumps. I tried the boots and pumps with the outfit, and decided on the pumps. I put on the Kiss stick-on nails and had the wife take some photos (3).

I left the house after 10:30pm, and arrived at Gigi's about 11pm. I paid for both levels, but never got to the show downstairs. The bar was not crowded, and I think the admirers outnumbered the gurls. I saw Jaye Marie first, we hugged, and got myself a beverage. I sat down, and noticed Audrey talking with 3 other gurls, and as they got up from their seats I went over to say hi. They were leaving to find another place to dance that had last decades music to dance to (the Backstreet, I think). I then noticed one of the group was an old friend, Stephanie. I had not seen her in a few years, and was saddened when she was leaving as well. I wanted to catch up on the past years...

Anyway, once they left (and Jaye disappeared as well), I was pretty much on my own. I did see Dawn Legluver, but she wasn't there for much longer, either. The only other gurl I knew by name was Rachel, and she was dancing her pretty ass off. The music was too "young" for me, so I didn't dance. I talked to the two admirers I've known for years, and just watched the crowd. I moved to next to the speaker, kind of leaned against admirer Chris, who seemed to get physically excited with my body contact. I was hit on by at least 4 guys, and eyeballed by many more. There were a few other gurls there, either into playing pool, or to pick up a guy for later. Not wanting to sound catty, but most of the gurls still there looked like fullbacks in dresses. I moved and sat on top of a speaker to avoid many of the guys, and to be seen better . I still had 2 more guys try to hit on me, and one guy standing close, ogling my legs (and hoping for a leg shot, which I'm sure he got). After rebuffing the two admirers, the guy looking at my legs approached me, touched my legs and confessed he was a pantyhose freak. He wanted to buy my used pantyhose from me! I told him no, but allowed him to stroke my lower legs while I was on the speaker. I asked him to take a couple of photos of me sitting there, which he quickly agreed to do (see the photo). After the photos, I asked him to help me to get down from the speaker. He did manage a quick feel of my upper thighs and ass in the process. At 2:00am, I left for home.

I went straight home, no stops. Once there, I broke out the camera tripod, cleaned a couple of settings and began to take photos. I took my equipment out to the driveway to take some photos in our car. As I was setting up, the neighbor across the street came home with others. I stepper in front of the car, and waited almost 20 minutes for them to leave again. I hastily snapped a few photos, and retreated to the safety of the house. A few more photos wearing the boots, and it was 3:45am already. I put the equipment away, uploaded the photos to my PC, and changed back to male drab. As been the habit (since the kids moved out), I kept the nails on until the next day- I wanted to get the most out of a set of disposable fingernails!

Being dressed and going out again was heaven on earth for me. The boat is still in the water, but the racing season is over. I expect to get out more on a regular schedule once the boat has been hauled out and stored. Since I didn't know I was being allowed to dress until Saturday, I didn't have time to post my plans. I will rectify that in the future.

I loved getting out and the attention I got! Looking forward to many more outings as Lisa.
Huggs!

Summer is nearly here. . .

. . . and my dressing time is waning.

My youngest son got married in the beginning of May, and that meant being busy in April with wedding plans. Didn't get a chance to dress.

Now in May, I'm busy getting our boat ready for the sailing season. I had planned to go out on May 8th to Gigi's in Detroit. Earlier that day (I don't like scheduling events on my outing day, as something always goes awry), my wife and I went out for a Mother's Day meal with the newlyweds at a restaurant called the Red Coat Tavern. The meal was very good, and they had an excellent microbrew beer called 'Thelonius Monk' of which I had three (pints). The brew was 9% alcohol, and I was feeling little pain when we left. My wife wanted additional draft beer (against my better judgment), so I agreed as long as I would have time to get ready to go out. Two more draft pints later, we got home. By that time, I was pretty much wasted.

I had a strong urge to dress, but I had a serious coordination problem. The last time I was like that and went out dressed, I was stopped for DUIL. I still had a need to get dressed, so I did, but knew I wasn't going anywhere. It took me an hour to find my razor (my wife had relocated it) and get my first shave. Since I wasn't going to be in the public eye, I only shaved once. I also used some new make-up the wife bought herself for the wedding- foundation, powder, blush and mascara (no false eyelashes this time). I used my eye shadow, brow powder (I did not conceal my real eyebrows either) and eyeliner. When I applied my lipstick, I overshot my lower lip, and didn't bother to re-do it. I decided to wear a jumper and white knit long sleeved top both destined for the wash, and no waist cincher, and with black high heels and white pantyhose. I didn't bother with finger nails, since I was staying home. I was fully dressed by 10 PM, just in time for the Red Wings / Sharks playoff game.

The wife came home with her carry-out dinner just as I finished my preparations. We both watched the game, disappointed in the results (Red Wings lost, and were eliminated from the play-offs). Wifey stayed up for a few minutes cleaning up her after dinner, and went to bed. She had sat next to me for the whole game, and treated me as if I wasn't dressed (much to my surprise). She even kissed me good night (on the cheek, though)!

After she went to bed, I pulled out my camera, and began snapping pictures (self-timer), and taking a video or two before I began to tire, which was about 3:30 AM. I did an outfit change once, wearing just my Red Wings jersey, pantyhose and red high heels during the photo shoot (posted on my Flikr page). I put things away, checked my e-mail and Flickr page, and downloaded my camera cards to my PC while still dressed. I removed my clothes and make-up and was in bed by about 4:15 AM. When I viewed the photos I took later on Sunday, I was amazed by how well I looked! For a hurried, uncoordinated attempt at make-up, it didn't look too bad (for the camera).

I am hoping I can get one more opportunity to dress and go out to Gigi's on Saturday, May 22nd., before the boat gets launched and Memorial Day weekend's annual sail happens. Once summer is here, I will have precious little time to go out dressed. If I can't go out, I pray I will be able to find time to dress enfemme for short periods of time.

Thanks for reading my ramblings!

Huggs, Lisa D.

I was (finally) out again last Saturday!

I managed to arrange the time, so I dressed and went out to Gigi's in Detroit last Saturday (1/9). The wife wanted to visit a local tavern before I started my transformation, so I got
a later start than I wanted (but the wife was happy). The make-up was the easiest part this time, and it came out better than I expected. I had a couple of outfits planned, but couldn't find everything I was looking for. I haven't bought Lisa any new clothes in a couple of years, so I usually put something together that I have not worn in a few months. My clothes aren't fitting so well as I get older (and bigger), so my selection is getting smaller. I found (and settled on) my brown corduroy jumper, white blouse, suntan pantyhose, boots and a short wig. I couldn't find one of the the shoes I was going to wear at the club, so I opted
to stay in the boots all night. I finished my dressing with the addition of some jewelry and perfume. I set up the camera and tripod, took some photos, unhooked the camera, put it in my
purse, said goodbye to the wife (busy in her office) and left about 10:00pm (she didn't notice the short outfit with a coat on!).

I stopped at an ATM for cash, and arrived at Gigi's around 10:40pm. I managed to get a
parking spot close enough to the building that I could use my remote starter when ready to
leave. Once inside, I paid for both levels (but didn't go down to see the show, yet again) and
headed to the bar. While waiting for the waitress, I was greeted by Emma and Jaye Marie.
Also there were Jackie, Chrissie, Laurie Beth, Debbie, Brandie, Kelly and Tracy. Shelly was also there, but ignored me as her usual way. I visited around, noting some new faces, as well as some familiar ones who haven't been there in a while. There were two mature gurls there, showing the rest of us how it is done! Later more arrived- Anastasia, Kiki, Marcy, Michelle and a Hott DQ performer from Toledo, just to mention a few. I danced as long as the 'good' music played, watched the pool players some, and visited the rest of the time. As the crowd began to disperse (after 1:30am), I finally got a chance to chat with Lynn, a gurl I haven't
seen in over 3 years (she claims to have a photo of us together). I said my farewells, and
headed to the door. I started my vehicle, and recovered my coat from the coat check. After a
5 minute warm-up, I left for home. I stopped for a snack at the WC (which I finished before
arriving home), and arrived home around 2:15am.

The wife was already asleep when I arrived, so I set up the camera and took lots of photos,
and a video as well. I had planned on doing some outfit changes and even a photo or two out
in the snow, but the hour was late (about 4:00am), and I was getting tired. I took care of
my heightened physical needs and changed back to drab. I left my Kiss Stick-on nails and a
bracelet in place till the morning. One of my New Years resolutions is to clean-up and
organize Lisa's things so they can be found easier. I even found the missing shoe while
putting my worn clothes away.

This was my first outing of the year, and the first since Dec. 7th. I am planning to go out
again Jan. 23rd., and have scheduled an outing in March for the Annual Crossroads Chapter dinner/dance. I thoroughly enjoyed my night out dressed enfemme!

Huggs to all,

Last time out . .

. . was Dec. 7th, 2009.
December was a busy month for me, so I didn't have time to update this blog.I haven't worn this outfit for almost a year- white pantyhose, black knit jumper (from the 1990's), leather boots and a white turtleneck sweater. I opted to wear my black bob wig, which is also from the 90's (I tried to mimic a look in photos taken 10 years ago). I had gotten the earliest start in years, and was ready to leave by 8:45pm- my wife wasn't home to complain about the dress length. I took a few photos before leaving, and headed out, stopping at an ATM before arriving at Gigi's.

The parking lot was nearly empty, so I got a good spot. I went in, paid for both levels, and headed upstairs. I was greeted by Jaye Marie, Jackie and Chrissy. I ordered a drink, and made my rounds. Being there early, the place wasn't too busy, and the music DJ Russ spun was easy for me to dance to. Between dances, Jaye introduced me to a (lovely) new face, Kelly. By 11pm, the place filled up. I didn't go down to see the show this time, but I did some schmoozing upstairs instead. I saw Anton (The Impaler), Megan, Brian Behave, and others who's names I forgot (getting older is a bitch).

Around 1am I made my rounds, said my good-byes and left. I arrived at home about 1:45am, and since the wife was sleeping, I started to take as many photos (and a video or two) as my memory card could hold. Around 3am, I shut down the photo session and changed back to drab. The only concession I made was to leave the Kiss Stick-on nails on my fingers until the next morning- I wanted to get my moneys worth out of the nails (being home without the kids around allows me more freedom).

Dec. 19th. we were out of town, Dec. 26th and Jan. 2nd I was down with a cold which turned into the flu. I am looking forward to going out tomorrow night (Jan. 9th) to Gigi's. Should everything work out, I'll also be out 1/23. I am also planning to attend the Crossroads Chapter Anniversary dinner/dance in March.

Huggs to all!
